The Problem
If you’re like me, you’ve saved hundreds (or thousands) of Instagram reels over the years. Recipes you wanted to try, coding tutorials, design inspiration, fitness routines, startup advice — a treasure trove of valuable content.
But there’s a catch: you can’t search them.
Instagram’s saved folder is a chronological grid of thumbnails. No keyword search. No tag filter. No way to find that one reel you saved two years ago without scrolling endlessly.
The Solution
SavedStash turns your stagnant saved folder into a searchable library. Here’s how it works:
- Request your Instagram data export — Go to Instagram settings, request a download in JSON format. Instagram emails it to you within a few days.
- Upload to SavedStash — Upload the JSON file to SavedStash. It processes entirely on your device — we never store your export file.
- Search everything instantly — Every imported reel becomes searchable by caption, creator, and hashtag. Find any reel in seconds.
What Makes SavedStash Different
Privacy-First by Design
Your Instagram data export is processed on your device and never stored on our servers. Only the extracted reel links are saved to your personal vault. We never see your Instagram data.
