Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SavedStash, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

SavedStash allows users to save, organize, and view Instagram Reels in a personal vault. The service stores reel links and fetches content directly from Instagram. The app currently works with Instagram only. SavedStash offers optional Google sign-in for the bulk import feature, which allows users to import their previously saved Instagram Reels from an Instagram data export file.

3. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, SavedStash grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the SavedStash website and service for personal, non-commercial use. This license does not permit you to use the service on any device or account that you do not own or control, and you may not distribute or make the service available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices simultaneously.

4. Accounts & Authentication

Creating an account is optional and only required for the bulk import feature. Accounts are created via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. SavedStash does not store your Google password - authentication is handled by Google via OAuth 2.0.

5. User Responsibilities & Restrictions

You agree to use SavedStash solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

Use the service for any commercial purpose without prior written authorization;

Redistribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense any content obtained through the service;

Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices;

Use the service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks;

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the service or its related systems;

Use the service to violate the intellectual property rights of content creators or third parties.

When using the bulk import feature, you represent that the Instagram data export file you upload is your own data export lawfully obtained from Instagram in compliance with Instagram's terms of service.

6. Third-Party Platform Compliance

SavedStash accesses publicly available Content from Instagram, a platform operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of SavedStash must comply with Instagram's Terms of Use. SavedStash uses Google Sign-In for authentication; your use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. SavedStash is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Meta Platforms Inc., or Google. We do not control Instagram's services, and Instagram may modify their platform, APIs, or terms at any time, which may affect SavedStash's functionality.

7. Intellectual Property

The SavedStash service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and branding, is the proprietary property of SavedStash and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the service, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except as expressly permitted by applicable law. You retain ownership of the content you save to your vault. Content creators retain all ownership rights in their original Content.

8. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive to maintain the service's availability and functionality. However, the service is provided on an "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, or any features thereof, at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service or any part thereof.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAVEDSTASH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY CONTENT ACCESSED THROUGH THE SERVICE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SAVEDSTASH, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

11. Termination

These Terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any provision. Upon termination, you must cease all use of SavedStash. Sections 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 shall survive termination of these Terms.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and provide additional notice through the service or via email if an account is associated. Your continued use of SavedStash following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
